Making your next visit easy
Save time in the office or save yourself a phone call by reading our frequently asked questions.
Do I need an appointment?
While we do accept walk-ins, we strongly recommend having an appointment to avoid long wait times. Appointments will be seen before a walk-in. We do, however, do our best to take hospice care cases whenever owners call.
Do you offer payment plans?
We accept all major credit cards and also Care Credit. Owners cans apply for Care Credit online at the time of appointment or before arriving at the hospital.
Is flea/tick and Heartworm prevention needed year round?
Here in TN, we have mild winters so all the doctors strongly recommend doing flea/tick and Heartworm preventions year-round, as we still find ticks here in December.
Do you offer boarding or grooming?
We are a three doctor practice, which doesn’t leave room in the hospital for boarding or grooming animals. However, we are offering boarding for cats only at this time. We have names of local groomers we can recommend.
Do you see exotic pets/farm animals?
We see mostly dogs and cats, but we also see small pocket pets such as hamsters, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and reptiles. We also do beak, wing, and nail trims on healthy birds. Our diagnostics on these species can be limited, so we do refer to UT Exotics when needed. Pet pigs are also welcome.
