Dr. Oakes maintains an interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine, he is particularly passionate about soft tissue surgery and preventive medicine. He shares his home with his spouse and three pets: a Miniature Schnauzer, Raven, a Dalmatian puppy, Q, and the most handsome Siamese mix, Emmitt. When not working, he enjoys exploring all the beautiful outdoor areas Tennessee offers and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes!
